Narrabeen Learn to Swim
Narrabeen Learn to Swim provides swimming lessons by qualified AustSwim instructors on Saturday mornings (9am to 11am) during the summer season for a nominal fee for the season.
The programme is to provide opportunity for the community to have swimming lessons in an open environment, learn water confidence, swimming with confidence and then progress to swimming clubs and Nippers.
Register at North Narrabeen rock pool.
Children (3+ years old) come along at any time in the morning, enrol, receive a number indicating their position in a queue and wait for one of the volunteer instructors to take them.
Registration is from 9.00am to 10.15am every Saturday morning at the Rockpool. The program’s emphasis is every child should be able to swim and ollder children are very welcome.
Please note: The learn to swim is a swimming programme run by volunteer teachers, so donations are very appreciated.
The Learn to Swim program was started in 1960 by members of NLASC.
